Culture? Globalization and Its outcome in modern world

Culture simply refers to the ideas, customs, and social behaviour of a particular people or society. It is an indispensable part of the society. Culture is local, historical and decentralized. Culture is learned and experienced. It carries the societal value with tradition and lifestyle of the particular group.Culture teaches belongingness and ownership. Individuals gain practical knowledge and information to sustain and live happily in that society. culture passes from generations to generations and there might be some structural and behavioural changes as per time and availability of the resources. Our ancestors have developed cultural norms and values realizing the time, region and geography. There are millions of tribal groups with their distinctive culture and originality.

On the other hand, Globalization has challenged the societal culture, customs, and tradition in today's modern world. Because of the advancement in science and technology, and innovation, people have realized unpredictable inventions with boundless opportunity. Now nothing is impossible because of modern innovation , availability of resources and capabilities. Due to globalization, people can see, gain and experience other  people's lifestyle, fashion trends, and use various products and services as per their demand and expectations. We can go in any corner of the world and experience the local environment, food and culture. Globalization and outsourcing have played a great role to make this earth as a common home for all. It is no more surprise that things are only available in one part of the world its everywhere. For example chinese products have their presence almost all over the world. Similarly western culture has hugely influenced people around the globe. Multimedia and communications channels have played a great roles in cultural transmission. Even some people are experiencing cultural fusion with two culture together as a fashion trends. 

But? Can we live happily with the world culture? Do we have any belongingness or connections to the world culture?  

It may be Yes or No. But the reality is we are exposed to the world culture and so do we learn and experience. The tribal culture that our past generations have experienced are in minority of the groups. we are hugely influenced with the modern society and lifestyle. But my question is what is our uniqueness and originality? Can we be happy with others foods and fashion. It is excellent to praise others culture and be part of it but we should not forget our originality and our culture. 

There are some of the positive and supportive facts of cultural globalization. Generally Asian countries are male dominated where all the decisive activities are led by males. Due to globalization, women gain the opportunities to learn and explore the world regarding women empowerment, gender equality and role of women in the decision making activities. women can easily follow the best practices initiated by great women in the western society. when we look in the western society. 

The world has been changed to the global village, where people are eagerly waiting to see and hear the news, fashion, sports, and cultural events happening around the globe. Sometimes people are easily attracted and diverted to that trend despite of their origin or cultural background. People are always curious about new cultural trend regarding fashion, lifestyle and food taste.
